There are 60-95% of cancer patients may occur acute and chronic skin reactions when they receive radiation therapy. If not properly care, there will be physical and mental uncomfortable, and even affect treatment lead to death by providing radiation skin care nursing education and high realistic learning situations, increase their knowledge, attitudes and skills, and thus enhance the quality of care. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore radiation therapy skin care workshop intervention effectiveness of learning for nurses 
This study is quasi-experimental design study. A quasi-experimental research method was adopted and purposive sampling was conducted at medical center and regional teaching hospital in North Taiwan.Thirty-four samples for selection nurses of radiation therapy patient care experience. After to provide radiation skin care workshops, then it is evaluated by “The questionnaire of radiation skin care and direct observation of procedural skills”. The results indicated the, the assessment measuring of skin care knowledge are 4.65 points. It’s better than the pre-test (SD ± 1.824) for 66%. Overall radiation therapy skin reactions care technology (t=-19.28, p=0.001, <0.05), it’s better than the pre-test(SD ±0.69).The empathy, confidence and willingness to have significantly improved.
The results show that radiation therapy skin care workshop for nurses in radiation therapy skin care knowledge and skills have significant learning outcomes. The teaching of the present study can be used as future radiation therapy skin care education and training planning reference Therefore, this kind of teaching can be used as a reference for future radiation therapy skin care education and planning.
